A Study on the Human Rights for Mental Disordered and the Human Rights Sensitivity of Workers at a Mental Hospital

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study was to examine the human rights sensitivity of workers at a mental hospital and to build the foundational information for promoting human rights of workers in mental health field. Two hundred and twenty three workers at a mental hospital were included in this study Through the study we identified workers’ human rights sensitivity. these findings was compared with the result of occupational types, careers, and workers who were educated about human rights or not. The results were as follows；1) As for workers’ human rights sensitivity by occupational types, drs who were training for a psychiatrist showed the highest and psychiatrical social workers showed next. 2) As for workers’ human rights sensitivity by careers, workers who had worked less than 6 months showed the highest human rights sensitivity. 3) Workers who were educated about human rights not differed significantly from Workers who were not educated about human rights.
